REGLAMENTO 2018

27 FCM-PNR: 2018 REGULATIONS

The Madrid Film Festival is organized by the Plataforma Nuevos Realizadores. The PNR is a non-profit association, established in 1987 by emerging directors, producers and technicians of the Spanish cinema. For 30 years it has supported the creation and production of audiovisual works, while promoting its exhibition in film venues and other broadcasting means.

PNR’s historical compromise with cinematographic and audiovisual production renews every year by hosting the FCM-PNR Festival, where this association means accomplish some of its fundamental goals:

  • To take into consideration the cinematographic work, regardless of its format, length, genre or subject matter.
  • To offer contemporary cinema an exhibition space in venues with optimum screening conditions.
  • To promote emerging production by enabling free registration and fomenting payment for each selected film in the Official Feature and Short Film Sections.
  • To disseminate new directors cinema among the public by offering free or affordable sessions and by organising open meetings among authors, general public and students.
  • Films screening for the first time in Madrid during the 27FCM-PNR Festival will be particularly valued.

The FCM-PNR Festival’s 27th edition will be held in Madrid, October 11th-23st, 2018.

Registration ends on Friday, June 15th, 2018, 23:59.

The Plataforma Nuevos Realizadores, by means of selection and programming of the International Sections, shows its commitment with the dissemination of other films among all kinds of audiences — from children to special public—, clearly devoted to public outreach. This way, the Festival allows for one of the association’s objectives, promoting diverse cinema, with high definition screening and adequate promotion of the films.
